OMS offers two levels of EntitleNow!
EntitleNow! is a bundling of OMS products and services. It allows us to offer a standard set of applications and services including optional hosting of the infrastructure. Both EntitleNow! Enterprise and EntitleNow! SMB (Small and Medium Business) use the same application base and offer many of the same features and functions.
Creating a Customer Self-Service Center
The EntitleNow! SMB solution entitlement center creates a personalized customer self-center by showing the customer only what he entitled to and allowing them to access the electronic deliverables associated with it.
Entitlement can come from order data or it can be through self-registration and the entitlement period can be limited through various controls including subscription expiry, availability periods and/or download counts.
Enhanced Customer Experience
Creating a central site with secure and limited access to your products provides customers with:
- Access to Order Details – allow your customers see their orders and the details, allowing them access to product deliverables from the order.
- Access to Products and Updates – proactively alert your customers that new products, updates, and patches are available for them to download. Email notification uses customizable templates.
- Optionally Access to License Keys – our solution can be extended to integrate with your existing license key management systems allowing customers access to their product license keys like any other product deliverable.
- Optionally More Granular Deliverable – perhaps instead of requiring your customer to download an entire CD or DVD just to access the release notes or the documentation you may want them to be able to download those independently of the CD/DVD images.

The EntitleNow! SMB solution provides full compliance and auditability for all transactions.
- No anonymous users, all users are tracked and can be audited.
- Export compliance checking using third party Denied Parties List (DPL) services to ensure not only entitlement but also restriction enforcement.
- Products can be limited independently of government lists with a granular set of options.
- Disclaimers and/or EULAs can be displayed that must be agreed to prior to download.
Reporting
OMS has a series of reports that help track activity and can assist in any forensic analysis.
Since all transactions are logged, custom reports can be created to report on all aspects of the product's digital lifecycle.
Central Repository for Finished Goods
As a natural effect of building and releasing products, you have a central archive created for all the products you have released electronically. Product structure is maintained in the form of a bill of materials. Each part in the BOM has a content and metadata such as state.
No more lost deiverables or questions about what was delivered. Since all changes are logged and security is permission-based, only authorized individuals can make changes during the release process. After it has been released no changes are permitted.
With workflow management and part revision control, you can full confidence that changes only occur during the development changes. QA and manufacturing are assured that once approved all elements and content are secure.
Supply Chain Management
Even if you don’t use OMS for your physical distribution, you can allow access to gold masters to your internal or external logistics groups.
You can send them alerts and they can see schedules. You can provent them from downloading until just before release or at release time. You can even tell if and when they downloaded the masters.
Since all submits and retrieves are checksumed you can have confidence that what was uploaded will be downloaded correctly.
